Doreen Sawyer has been a major participant, largely behind the scenes, in the promotion of Reiki in the UK. She would never say this herself but if you listen to her interview you will be amazed at what she has done and is still doing today.
This interview is not just about Doreen but also the UK Reiki Federation. This Federation has grown over the years and now represents 1500 Reiki practitioners in the UK. It has always been a highly active organisation and has introduced concepts such as Reiki Awareness Week to the UK.
Doreen explains what the motivations are behind the organisation, its role in the UK Reiki Regulatory Working Group and where she sees Reiki heading in the UK.
