Our Refund Policy:
Refunds are only given if a course is altered or cancelled by the International House of Reiki. We do not accept responsibility for changes in students' personal circumstances and reserve the right to alter/cancel any of the available courses. If there is reasonable cause, students may move their courses forward to a new date after booking and paying for a course. The International House of Reiki must be notified of this 24 hours prior to a course or the student’s course payment will be forfeited.
Venues:
Courses in Australia will be taught in either Newtown, Sydney or Mt Tomah, in the Blue Mountains or in Brunswick, Melbourne. You can find out more information about the venues here.
Discounts:
In Australia the more students that you book into a course - the cheaper it gets! For every second, third, fourth or more students you book on the same course as yourself you will receive a 12.5% discount off the total course fees. Simply click on Add To Cart and type in the quantity of people you wish to book into the course, click Recalculate and watch the price get cheaper!!!
All online orders will receive two email confirmations from us. One is a confirmation of the date of the course, the other confirms the time and venue of the course, provides directions and offers a hint or two to help you get the most out of your course! You may also receive an opt-in email which asks you to confirm your email address with us if you haven't done so previously.
Shoden is a Japanese word meaning 'first teachings'. Come and join us to receive a fantastic foundation in the system of Reiki that will leave you feeling confident and supported.
*The Blue Mountains residential course includes all meals (vegetarian) plus dormitory accommodation for the Saturday evening. There are no extra costs for this Shoden residential course.

Okuden is a Japanese word meaning 'inner teachings'. As the word implies a deeper understanding and connection to Usui Mikao’s teachings is achieved during this course.
Delve deeper into understanding your connection to people, places, nature and events in the world around you. You can even begin to take steps to working as a professional Reiki practitioner at this level.
Be one with Reiki, 24 hours a day... Shinpiden is the Japanese word for ‘mystery teachings’. It is for those who wish to continue their personal journey, a journey that is ongoing long after you complete the Shinpiden course. Become confident as a teacher and practitioner as you receive individual ongoing attention and guidance from your teacher.
*The Blue Mountains course is a residential course and includes all meals (vegetarian) plus accommodation for two evenings (accommodation limited so book early).

Three to four times a year Student Retreat Days are held at the Tomah Retreat Centre.
There is generally a theme to each of these days and often guest speakers are invited to support that theme.
The venue is set on 5 acres and there is accommodation available for students who wish to retreat to the mountains earlier. Generally an Okuden Level II course is also organised for the following day so students can take the weekend off and get up to the mountains for an intensive weekend of healing and personal development with Reiki. Check above for suitable Blue Mountains' Okuden dates.
There are also longer retreats available for students.
