Beaming Non-traditional technique where Reiki is directed to a person/place or thing by turning the palms toward them/it. This technique does not include touch. It is taught in the Usui Tibetan branch of Reiki and is practiced by Independant Reiki Masters.
Bockner, Rick One of Hawayo Takata's 22 Reiki Master students. He became a Reiki Master on the 12th of October 1980 at Bethel Phaigh's house in Slocan Valley. He had received his first degree on 10th of October 1979 and his second degree on the 20th of October 1979. He is currently a member of The Reiki Alliance. Breath of the Fire Dragon Non-traditional breath technique used with attunement process. Variations of this are the blue kidney breath, Reiki breathing, fire breathing and violet breath.
Brown, Barbara One of Hawayo Takata's 22 Reiki Master students. She became a Reiki Master in October 1979 in Cherryville, BC, Canada. The inaugral Reiki Alliance meeting was held at Barbara Brown'’s house in British Columbia in 1883. She passed away on Easter Sunday, 2000 and was in her mid-80s. Brown, Fran One of Hawayo Takata's 22 Reiki Master students. She is the 7th Reiki Master trained by Hawayo Takata. She completed her First Degree on the 3rd of June 1973 with Hawayo Takata. She then took her Second Degree training from John Gray in 1976. She became a Reiki Master on the 15th of January 1979 in Keosauqua, Iowa. She has been a member of The Reiki Alliance.
