Yamaguchi Chiyoko Yamaguchi passed away in Ausgust, 2003 at the age of 82. She was taught Levels 1 and 2 by Hayashi Chujiro in 1938. She said that she learnt both shoden and okuden together over 5 consecutive days. Many of her family members were practitioners and from one of them she learnt to perform the attunement. Yamaguchi Chiyoko has assisted her son, Tadao, teaching a style that they called Jikiden Reiki. Alive are some of their family members who are practitioners, but not teachers, in the system. Tadao is based in Kyoto, Japan.
